Contraindications of electroepilation

Your health and safety must always come first. Remember to prioritize your health over your beauty, and don't keep your diagnoses to yourself during your consultation because it's about your life and well-being.
Contraindications for electroepilation procedure:
1. Immunodeficiency conditions (HIV virus, hepatitis or other immunodeficiencies)
2. asthenia (general weakness)
3. Neuropsychiatric disorders
4. Pregnancy (1st trimester), lactation (first 6 months)
5. epilepsy
6. Oncologic diseases
7. Heart disease, including hypertension and ischemic heart disease, heart defects
8. Taking photosensitizing drugs
9. Varicose veins in the areas of exposure
10. Taking Roaccutane (Isotretinoin) for 6 months prior to treatment
11. Taking antibiotics within 2 weeks prior to epilation
12. Diabetes mellitus at the decompensation stage
13. Somatic diseases in the acute stage
14. Hyperthermia
15. Hemophilia, clotting disorders and use of drugs that reduce blood clotting (anticoagulants)
16. Metal implants, including "golden threads" in the treatment area
Procedure can be unsafe for people with metal implants, including "gold threads" in the zone of action.
17. Presence of a pacemaker or cochlear implant
18. Presence of infectious and inflammatory processes on the skin, including exacerbation of chronic skin diseases and any other violation of the integrity of the skin (warts, herpes, fungal diseases, cuts, birthmarks, fresh scars, sunburns, impetigo, inflammation, acne, etc.)
19. Menstruation
It is not recommended to perform the procedure during menstruation because of increased skin sensitivity and possible risk of infection.
